Free for all Friday – What to watch this weekend
Today is Friday correct?
Ah, It’s Friday, or wait is it? I am pretty sure it’s Friday, but then again, all my days are running together. Oh well, if it is Friday, then that means I’m ready for the weekend.
I don’t know about you, but I like to watch movies. I also happen to have almost every streaming service available, so I’m sure to find something to watch.
If you’re like you can get overwhelmed with options. On this Free for All Friday (I hope it’s Friday) I wanted to provide the shows and movies you want to binge this weekend.
If you are a cable or satellite TV subscriber now is the perfect time to test out streaming services. Many services have opened their content for FREE.
Streaming services may also save you money over the costs of cable or satellite services.
Apple TV+
If you have Apple’s streaming service, then you need to watch Servant. If you already watched Servant, you should watch it again. Clear out some time from your schedule, and watch Servant.
Amazon Prime
If you have a Prime membership, then you have access to stream movies and tv shows as well. Some of the better Amazon Prime shows include:
- Jack Ryan
- The Man in the High Castle
Since I haven’t binged them yet, Homecoming and The Expanse are on my weekend list.
Hulu
While I have Hulu I am not as familiar with their line up as the other services.
I have heard good things about Little Fires Everywhere. If you want something a bit more intense binge Castle Rock.
Netflix
Netflix has a ton of content. For the amount of time that Netflix has been in the streaming game, this shouldn’t be a surprise.
Netflix is there is so much content, deciding on something to watch takes time.
To help you narrow it down here are some of my favorites:
- Stranger Things
- The Money Heist
- Jessica Jones
- Luke Cage
- Iron Fist
If you don’t want to pay to stream here are some free options for you.
HBO
HBO is offering some of their content for free. Head over to their website or download their apps to get started.
Hoopla
Hoopla works with your public library. You will need a library card to take advantage of the service. Hoopla will allow you to stream movies, music and access certain books.
Pluto
Install Pluto on your streaming device, Apple TV, Google Chrome Cast, Amazon Firestick or your smart TV. Then you have access to free content. No account is necessary.
YouTube
YouTube provides some movies for free. The free movies have ads, but is there anything free anymore?
This list should get you well on your way. All that’s left is to order some delivery and microwave some popcorn.
Check back on Monday for some more news and information.
